The proposal is located in Mitford at the old industrial site. The remaining industrial elements are an inspiration to the construction principles as well as the thesis, architectural and landscape language of the building. The building is orientated perpendicularly to the river edge to allow better connection between the industrial spaces and maximises the efficiency of work and processes happening throughout. The visitor’s floor became a series of bridges that are placed above the process spaces in order to allow clear views and understanding of the whisky making procedure.
