It is with great pleasure that we share the work of our Architecture and Interior Architecture students with you and celebrate their creative practice. We are exceptionally proud of our students and none more so than this year, where they have shown great adaptability and resilience to produce final project work that continues to be complex, rigorous in intent and rich in execution.
Their work continues to tackle issues of place, community, ecology, and biodiversity with a poignancy that we can appreciate now more than ever. The work is agenda-setting, it is largely self-determined and it expresses the control our students hold over their craft. With this online showcase, we celebrate their creativity and achievements, until we can show their work in our Sutherland studios again. Until then, join us in congratulating the students of Northumbria Architecture 2021.

Located at Northumbria’s City Campus in the heart of Newcastle, this ambitious and innovative extension of the University’s historic Grade II listed Sutherland Building has been designed by award-winning architects Page/Park.
